Trejaan Badge by John "The Gneech" Robey

Trejaan's "cave lion" character is typically garbed in a sort of "bronze age meets Hyborian age" cape and armor getup, so for his badge I took that motif and tried to put him into an environment that would complement it. Trejaan was pleased with the result, I'm happy to say. :) He described it as "Trejaan: The Animated Series." Trejaan is © his own self, of course.

HBar98 declared that if he got down to a goal weight that he'd get a commission from me -- and subsequently made his goal, so he got this! Quite an egoboo to know I was the motivator. ^.^ The original version of this had some serious perspective problems with the building on the right -- we had kaiju HBar stomping through town, basically. This is another piece that started as a convention sketchbook image. Trejaan (I think it was) went to Jessica Willard and got her permission for me to use Falstaff, and suggested the two of them clowning around in a photo booth. I was so pleased with the idea that I took the sketch home and cleaned it up into this. :) "Falstaff" property of J. Willard, obviously, used by permission. :)

Commission for Rose T.; her character Alyssia (© herself). "Strawberry blonde" is a startlingly difficult color to convey. I ended up sampling colors from a photograph, and then doing a layer of transparent yellow over them to smooth them out.
